i really enjoyed my stay at no. 16. the interior was so cosy, especially with the beautiful tartan carpet. my superior double room was clean and comfortable. The shower was a real treat! being just around the corner from the sea allowed me to collect stunning sea glass, and the communication from dave was fantastic.

The beachfront location makes it ideal for sea glass hunting, complemented by the quiet atmosphere despite being near the main road. The decor is charming, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. Excellent cleanliness and well-stocked amenities, including tea and coffee supplies, added to the positive experience. limited on-site assistance might be an issue for those needing frequent help.

The room was super spacious and comfy. The shower with two heads was a delight! It was nice to chill in the lovely garden area with some sun loungers and a cozy seating spot. one towel could've been cleaner, but it didn't ruin our fun at all. 🌼

The fresh orange juice from Lickety Split Creamery & Juice Bar is a must-try! Plus, the bed in the Deluxe King Room was super comfy, leaving us well-rested for our culinary adventures around Seaham. We were spoiled for choice with fab dining spots just a stone's throw away!
We had issues with a dodgy combination lock for the room that needed some finesse to operate. the bathroom could've used a good scrub. a few too many dusty corners for my liking!

missingWrote a review on 17 May
The location offers quick access to the sea front, meaning stunning views and a nice walk are practically at your doorstep. The rooms present an attractive, cozy vibe with ample space, and little extras like complimentary water and biscuits really add to the experience.
One downside worth noting is that the bathroom came with a strange odor despite being visibly clean, which was a bit off-putting. the mattress in my room felt softer than I'd prefer, and finding the right shower temperature felt like a puzzle, taking longer than it should have. There was also only one bedside light available, which could flare up to be an inconvenience for nighttime reading.

I stayed in the Deluxe King Room for 1 night with my family, and the room was clean, spacious, and modern. The beds were super comfy, which is always a win. Plus, we had nice touches like tea/coffee, water, and biscuits. The bathroom was a good size, too. There's free parking right outside, which was a relief. a great place to crash after exploring the area.
